COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have taken one of our favorite IPAs and fermented it solely with Brettanomyces! This super fresh dryhopped brett IPA is basically a glass full of tropical fruit and citrus! Utilizing the same recipe for our Vis Secret IPA, the brettanomyces has added an element of passionfruit and pineapple as well as a dryness that will have you begging for more. In true Nøgne Ø style, we have opted away from the norm and created something extraordinary. Enjoy fresh as this beer was not intended for cellaring. Pairs well with sharp cheese and good company! All of our beers are unpasturized and unfiltered which may lead to variations both in taste and carbonation levels.

On tap at Cafe Sara, march 20th 2015. Hazy golden-orange body with a small white head.Funky brett aroma with tropical fruits, herbs. Taste is semisweet with a dry backend, the bretty yeast starts careful and becomes more dominating as the beer warms. The berry and forest-like taste of the hops blends really well into it all. A fresh and funky ipa, proving that Brettanomyces and Vic goes really well together.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Tom C. Cloudy amber with a frothy white head. Slightly funky aroma that’s also hoppy and citrusy. Bitter, orange peel and slightly sour in the mouth with a hint of saltiness. Medium body, mildly funky finish.

At a tasting, thanks, big and a little gushing bubbly head, cloudy and a bit deep orange color, citrusy flowery aroma, same traits in flavor with a light bready maltiness in the back, salty sensation, a strong flowery soapy bitterness and a light fruity sweetness. Nice.

Gusher. Mostly handled it, except the cork fell into the glass.
Bottle just won’t stop gushing. Huge offwhite lasting head. Hazy
orangey body. Fruity funky peach aroma with resiny orangey notes.
Sweetish spicy wooden lime taste with peachy notes. Mid-bodied.
Mild, mealy mouthfeel, slightly flat. Dryish mealy fruity wooden
aftertaste with resiny spicy notes. Nice, interesting. The initial
aroma is fantastic, but the beer itself doesn’t quite live up to that
promise. (0.33l bottle, gift from the brewery. Batch 1358.)

Light amber in colour with a quite large carbonation, aroma fresh fruit, peaches, sweet citrus fruits like grapefruit’s. Oranges, mango the aroma is packed with fruitiness and a slight funkiness

Taste of tropical fruitiness, citrus, passion fruit and pineapple. The dryness comes at the end, has a nice lemon peel zest to the long and delicate dry bitterness.
