Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 20, 2013
courtesy of oh6gdx - hazy ruby-brown beer under a persistent and creamy beige foam; a fair biscuity maltiness in the nose and hints of hazelnuts in the background; a decent malt backbone, creamy palate; a gentle earthy bitterness and a long aromatic hoppy finish with more notes of cookies

fantti (1025) - FINLAND - JAN 14, 2013
Kaatuu lasiin kuparinruskeana ja sameana. Vaahto on todella muhkea, joka katoaa melko nopeasti. Haju on karamellinen, kuivatun hedelmäinen, rusinainen, maltainen, ruhoinen, havuinen ja hieman muovinen. Maku on makean maltainen, kuivatun hedelmäinen, ruohoinen ja hieman havuinen. Suutuntuma on kevyehkö. Kokonaisuutena ihan ok olut, mutta kyllähän tästä makua ja tuntumaa jää puuttumaan.

Quite strong aroma has honey, herbs, black currant, ripe fruits, alcohol. Hazy brown, short beige head. Taste has bitterness in finish, light body and feel, crisp, mild carbonation. Interesting one.

It doesnt look like an amber nor a brown beer. By the appearance, you can’t be sure of what you’re about to drink, and the feeling remains when you’re done drinking. It’s definitely a sour beer and you don’t taste much else.

bierkoning (13451) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2012
Bottle. Amber color, Gusher! Caramel aroma. Full bodied. Malty caramelly spicy flavor. Sweetish, with too many spices in the aftertaste. The balance is almost gone.
