Appearance: Dark red, clear. Some off-white head.
Aroma: Sweet. Some chocolate.
Taste: Sweet, caramel. Good amount of malt and fruit
Info: 330ml bottle, 26/12-2010
Bottled. Pours deep reddish amber with a very sparse, off-white head. Taste is mildly bitter, quite sweet. Palate has a medium to full body, surprisingly a bit thin and watery mouthfeel. Aroma has lots of unbalanced spices, warming alcohol, malts. kalervo (1055) - FINLAND - DEC 16, 2010
Aroma is quite interesting mix of herbs and fruits. Not really special but good beer. RexTalionis (3782) - FINLAND - DEC 16, 2010
Bottle. Poured very dark colour with a beige head. Aroma is quite interesting mix of herbs and fruits, feels like something that grows just outside a very green forrest. Flavour is kind of the same with some earthly vegetables there in too.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Slightly hazy dark amber color. The aromas of clove, pepper, dark caramel and hint of milk chocolate. Sweetish toffeish flavor with clove, pepper, dark caramel, milk chocolate, licorice and honey. Clearly tastier and more balanced than the lower alcohol version. But still, the spiciness feels a bit simple. begbie100 (181) - Oulu, FINLAND - NOV 20, 2010
330ml bottle. Light brown head, diminishes fast. Dark red color. Very sweet aroma with banana, toffee, hint of chalk. Watery palate. Flavor doesn’t follow with the sweetness. Slightly sour, chalkiness, some apple. Bland. Unbalanced. rosenbergh (11755) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 17, 2010
330 ml bottle. Finland.oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 15, 2010
Dark reddish brown colour with small light tan head.
Red wine, mild alcohol, berries, roasted malt and sugar in aroma.
Roasted malt, rye bread, some mild hops, some alcohol, berries and sugar in flavour.
Not the worst Nokian brew. Quite the opposite.
Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized foamy brown head. Aroma is shitloads of liquorice, mild caramel malts, some burnt sugar, and some toasted and spicy notes. Flavour is liquorice, a bit toasted, slight notes of burnt sugar, mild alcohol and spices. A rather pleasant Xmas seasonal. TET (3177) - Kaarina, FINLAND - NOV 12, 2010
Dark brown beer with quite weak and beige head. Aroma is roasted, some vegetables, hint of syrup and honey. Flavour is similar than aroma, roastiness, some sweetness and ryebread, spicies; quite simple taste and not too roasted. Smooth and pleasant to drink, however, quite light. Quite balanced, but uninspirating, vegetables should be hidden better.
