Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized foamy brown head. Aroma is shitloads of liquorice, mild caramel malts, some burnt sugar, and some toasted and spicy notes. Flavour is liquorice, a bit toasted, slight notes of burnt sugar, mild alcohol and spices. A rather pleasant Xmas seasonal. kalervo (1044) - FINLAND - DEC 16, 2010
Aroma is quite interesting mix of herbs and fruits. Not really special but good beer. CH-303 (2407) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JAN 3, 2011

Bottle from Alko. Aroma of dark malts and a lot of licorice. Malty taste is, again, licorice, a bit salty. Medium bodied, nice balance. olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 25, 2011

Pours murky dark red colour with small head. Aroma of light berries, vegetables, ripe fruits and spices. Flavour of ripe and dried fruits, spices, light caramel malts, distant sugar candy and grain. Decent.
Bottle. Poured very dark colour with a beige head. Aroma is quite interesting mix of herbs and fruits, feels like something that grows just outside a very green forrest. Flavour is kind of the same with some earthly vegetables there in too. ration (2282) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 25, 2011
Tap. Pours dark amber with a small head. Aroma grass, some hops, little spices. Light palate. Pretty but disappointing. Nordcore (1698) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2011

(Bottled, rated 2010-11-10) Clear, dark brown color with a quickly fading, lemonadey head. Aroma dominated by cough-medicinal anise and herbs, which is somewhat artificial, and begins to disturb after a while. Same medicine in the flavor - probably the "aromas" mentioned in the flavor, with a touch of roastiness, and even smaller touch of hops. Color malt also peeks behind the spicy curtain. Quite light body for the ABV, not warming enough for a winter beer. Artificial spiciness, luckily not much burnedness.
