On tap at Johnny Whites Pub & Grill in New Orleans (I think). Blonde appearance with a small white head. Aroma of diacetyl, sweet malts and light caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, grainy, mildly sweet and lightly bitter. Light body with a slick feel. Yikes.

tbonde (338) - DENMARK - DEC 4, 2016
On tap in New Orleans (from notes). Pours an almost clear dark yellow with a medium off white head with decent retention. Aroma of bread, grass, citrus and a slight yeast. Taste is lighter than a Belgian Blond, but well balanced between the bready malt and the hoppy bitterness, spiced by just a little yeast. Good mouthfeel, though a little on the watery side. A good brew for a not too high alcohol Blond.

Aroma is dark berries, some slight bready notes as well as mild earth. Flavour is caramel, some berries, mild hebrs and some slight grainy and mashlike sweetness.

Can on the streetcar in New Orleans. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. The nose holds pale, doughy bread, faint lemon, hay. Medium sweet flavour with more doughy malts, low bitterness, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sweet in the finish, with some further doughy bread, pale grains, lightly bitter hay. OK stuff overall.

drjoeng (1057) - SINGAPORE - APR 20, 2016
4.9%ABV. American blonde ale. Tapped out gold. 6SRM. Nose is sour and beery.. Mouthfeel is carbonated and watery. Very lager-like. Palate had pale malt with white bread, water biscuit raw peanuts. There is a thin sweetness that runs all the way through the tasting experience. Subtle hops. Clean finish. Overall, a very satisfying lager-like ride. Excellent accompaniment to a grilled beef skewer or some chili cheese fries.
