Erzengel (8770) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2014
Amber in the glass, very floral in the nose. The beer starts nice smooth, malty and floral hops fit well together. The mainpart is smooth, floral with hints of very fresh hops. They stay long in the mouth, smooth malty aftertaste with floral hops.
Nice IPA, bit all could be a bit more intense. Easy to drink! --> 12/12/11/11

Had it on tap at Felix’s oyster bar New Orleans. Pours a clear amber hue. It has a hop bitter taste with brash aftertaste.

Received this in a trade with GreatDane1632. It is a 16 ounce can and the beer pours deep golden and is lightly hazed. An almost white head sits atop. I smell hops to begin with and they are citrus and tropical. Caramel and pale malts. First sip brings a nice big hop flourish. Some nice fruit effects that are grapefruit, softer citrus, and tropical. At 53 degrees F I began to taste some pine and it works well with the fruits. The malts are complex and tasty. This is a nice IPA. It is complex and every one of the complexities is a classic.

On tap here and there throughout New Orleans, but I actually took my notes while having this from a tall can at Cibugnu. Deep orange, thickly lacing golden head. Light pine and grapefruit hops marginally outplay the sweet caramel malts here, ending with moderate bitterness. A sessionable tasty IPA.

Taster at the brewery. Pours clear copper with a thin white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like hops and peach, light pine and grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like very mild peach, citrus, and malt.

sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours clear amber with thick, creamy white head. Aroma is bread and biscuit malts, floral and grassy notes, and light citrus. Flavor is dry malts quickly followed by sharp pine and spicy hop bitterness and light citrus esters; dry finish with light bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.
