Irish Channel Stout is our newest seasonal ale. Released in November, this is an American style stout that has sweet malt flavors of caramel and chocolate, complimented by a crisp bitterness produced by roasted barley and American Hops. The complex malt bill of pale and roasted malts result in this well balanced stout that is smooth, rich, dark and delicious! And watch out ABV 6.8%! This seasonal will be available on draft through March.

Can. Heavy malt aromas of toasted and dark chocolate, light herbs and earth for the hops and yeast, with a note of cardboard and a hint of whiskey in the background. Head is large, frothy/creamy, light brown with slippery lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a soft carbonation and a lightly dry finish. A smooth and very easy drinking Stout.

Opaque black with foamy tan head. Moderately full body; but not syrupy, creamy, or silky.

Aroma: metallic, roasted barley, carob, cacao, faint herbal hops.

Taste: lots of roasted barley, rubber phenol, espresso.

Very dry, and overly roasty.

I'm not normally a stout fan, but this has all the nice roasty flavors, but with a thinner body that is a nice balance for me

Not the prettiest of pours but it sure is tasty! Pours opaque w/ basically no head or lacing. The aroma has a subtle but nice chocolate malt profile. The flavor is dark chocolate w/ maybe even a hint of roasted notes. Its not overly chewy making it easy to drink. Pretty good stuff!

Pours almost like an imperial stout, very dark brown and thick, khaki colored head. Roasted malts, dark cocoa, and some light hoppiness add to an interesting nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied surprisingly enough. Finishes with roast and cocoa. Interesting stout, very good, done well.
