100% Lacto/Brett fermented sour ale with tart cherries. Piety ale is chery pie mixed to a bounce beat. Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces make Piety sour and funky, while the red wine barrel aging and tart cherries show off its sweet and sassy side. DJ Rusty Lazer is known for making booties pop with his bounce beats. His Piety street studio has become an epicenter of art and culture in New Orleans. Once you pop, the funk don’t stop!

Taste is dry and light to medium sour with notes of cherries, grapefruit and light grain. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Great stuff. Bit vinegary.

Pours a peach skin color, minimal head. Brett galore, woodiness, blush wine, peach fuzz and white grape peel. The tartness is fresh and lingering, not abrasive. Very enjoyable.
