From 0.5L bottle. Pours clear medium to dark brown colored with an off-white, unstable head. Heavy malty aroma full of cherries and dried red fruits. Flavor is slightly sweet of dried fruits in the beginning. Turning to a light bitterness and a medium sweet finish with hints of liquorice. Medium to full body with a creamy texture, soft carbonation and a moderate touch of alcohol. A really good one to warm you up on a cold evening.

Cunningham (7344) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2015
Clear deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Good lacing. Toffee and dried fruits in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation. Nice mellow sweetness for a beer like this. And dangerously well hidden alcohol. Raisins, plums, some chocolate and toffee in the flavor. Decent nice evening sipper.

This is like drinking wine - the beer is alcohol pure and heavy. Perhaps to a heavy meal... but not my beer.

RexTalionis (3613) - FINLAND - FEB 19, 2014
Bottled. Pours clear darker amber in color with a small off-white head. Sweet dark fruityness with some marzipan notes and at the same time it feels also very creamy in aroma. Sweetish taste with some hints of slightly burnt toffee and dark bready maltyness. Soft and smooth. Overripe wild strawberry sweetness too, but the smoothness adds a bit of extra to the score here though.
