bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2016
50cl, 2013 Vintage willfully cellar-aged (bb06/13). - Not a fan of hefty Weizenbocks, fresh, so decided to age a few of an old bulk order: still pour an amber golden with generous foam. A not unpleasant sourish whiff of peach juice (oxidisation?) has slipped into the aroma. The creamy aspect of the wheat-oiliness has subsided into a thinner fruitcake of dried apricots in an apple juice texture, still charming, if not shining, with sweet roasted almonds, toasted banana bread.Bit of a burn on the quick finish, gluey aspects.

bottle picked up in ingolstadt. murky amber with a lingering cream head; aroma of banana flavoured custard and custard apple; sweet but in a fresh and non-sickly way with light toffee apple, earthy spice and some warming apfelschnapps. excellent!

It is a good beer but nothing special. The taste is not too strong and comparable to a Hefeweizen

RexTalionis (3722) - FINLAND - MAR 14, 2014
Bottled. Pours unclear golden in color with a thick and creamy whitish head. Sweet overripe banana sweetness, wheaty dough and bit of dark fruity vinousness in aroma. Sweet fruityness and notes of boozyness in taste. After awhile it gets more smooth though and the aftertaste feels thus more pleasant with sweet overripe banana and light vinousness.

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2014
bottle from mein-biershop. Cloudy deep golden colour, creamy off-white head. Fruity nose. Malty with a yeasty touch, plums, dried fruit and spices such as cinnamon, clove. Shy finish.

The banana aroma is dominant, cloudy dark yellow color, head ok. Fresh easy taste, with a sweetness that resist a little on the palate.
