Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some hoppy citrus hints. sweetish malty caramel flavor with some nutty hints and hints of hops. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with a hoppy bitter aftertaste. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2009
Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It pours a brown body with a ruby glow, almost clear, and topped by a small, beige head. The aroma has nuts, caramel, some herbs and maybe a faint note of DMS. The flavor has some chocolate in addition to the nuts and caramel found in the flavor, and is rather sweet. Some herbal notes as well. Full-bodied and smooth, with a caramel-sweet, nutty finish. A nice beer, but I am not very fond of the herbal touch in this one. (090516) stouby (4859) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2009
Redbrown with a off-white head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, roasted, nutty) and hoppy (pine, citrus). Flavor moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light to medium body. Good. fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 29, 2009
Draught @ Nørrebro Bryghus, Ryesgade 3, 2200 København, DenmarkGrovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2009
Clear dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Draught @ Nørrebro Bryghus [Thanks for a fantastic party Jens!] Average beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Somewhat dark brown color. Nice balanced hoppy and malty notes. Floral, mild grapefruit like, caramel, nutty. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Bitter floral finish with an underlying sweetness in there somewhere.

Pours muddy, light brown with a great, creamy, off-white head. Great duration and leaves fine lacings on my glass. Sweet aroma, some red berries mixed with light chocolate. But there is a great amount of hops as well, fruity and pine. Lowish carbonation, great mouthfeel for the ABV. Flavour is wonderfully hoppy, good pine, a bit sugary on the malts and a great dryness in the finish. Nice and really truly drinkable!
Tap at the brewpub. Reddish brown body with a medium creamy off-white head. Malty aroma with some nuts and sweet tobacco. Flavour is roasted malts, nuts, piney hops and coffee. Creamy body. Nice! Svesse (8982) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 18, 2009
(Draught at Nörrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen, 13 Feb 2009) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, nuts and dark rye bread. Malty, fruity, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate and citrussy hops in the finish. No hop monster, but there is a solid underlying, lingering bitterness throughout. Medium body. Very well balanced and nice beer. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 14, 2009
UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 On tap. Slightly hazy orangey brown with a dense, off-white head leaving laces. Discreet nutty nose. Full-bodied with plenty of roasted malt accents and again some nuttiness. Ends with a somewhat brutal hop bite that is a little unrefined. 020209 Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 13, 2009
Draught at Nørrebro Bryghys. Clear dark red/brown - white head. Nice high malty, nutty, piney, pine needles, fruity, dark bread, caramel, roasted, light sweetness, nice hoppy, bitter finish. Nice.
