Øldage 2009. A mahogny colored beer with good clarity with a thin beige head on top. Light nutty malts and dark dried fruits on the nose. A note of unripe berries. Taste is quite complex. Bitter-sweet, and slight sour malty with a roasted note and touch of chocolate. Dark fruits and mild hoppy bitternes beneath. Medium body. Soft in the mouth. A very likeable one.
On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, creamy, beige head. Roasted nose with dried fruits and a little sourish touch. Dried fruits, at least raisins, caramel, a little roasted notes, sweetness and a decent hop level giving a pleasant bitterness. Full-bodied with a nice level of co2. Overall, it’s a bit on the sweet side, but it’s a nice beer. Maybe needing some food. (090516) stouby (4669) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2009

Ont tap at Københavnske Øldage.
Sweet and bready, nice flavour and character, but should have had some more hops to balance it. fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 29, 2009

Pours a nice, dark and clear mahogany with a great, creamy, beige head. Small bubbles inside the creamy substance. Wonderful lacings. Aroma has fresh rye bread, light roasted, caramel and light tartness. Some blackberries as well. Medium carbonation, a bit watery mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and slightly sticky, some rye bread, sugary malts and light tartness. There is thankfully a good hoppy bite in the finish. Too sweet.
Tap at the brewpub. Brwon body with a medium creamy beige head. Lots of caramel, roasted malts and some chocolate in flavour and aroma. Ends up bitter chocolate like.
