Bottle from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. Pours hazy amber with a nice thick foamy cream head. Pleasant pineapple aroma. The taste is quite sweet with mango and pineapple. There’s some light spice too. It lacks the bitter finish you’d usually expect from this style of IPA leaving it feeling a bit watery. Even so it has a decent creamy mouthfeel. OK. Japalo (1887) - DENMARK - APR 3, 2016

Bottled. Hazy amber with one finger white head. Aroma of oranges, caramel, passion fruit and toffee. Taste is medium bitter with oranges, caramel sweetness, some fruity grapefruit and toffee. Medium mouthfeel, light carbonation and medium bitterness. mrol (355) - - OCT 21, 2015
Pours light amber with white foam. Has malty and hoppy aroma. Its heavy floral and has some pine-notes. Long finish dry but I’d like more bitterness.

Copenhagen 18/10 2015. 40 cl bottle from Kvickly. Pours clear golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is sweet with perfumed exotic fruit. Some peach and mango. Only a little citrus around. Soft carbonation and oily palate. Flavour is sweetish and follows the nose. Aftertaste is nicely medium bitter and lightly citrus. Decent but does not get me all the way to Bombay. One i

Nice approachable beer. While somewhat powerful, the sweet fruity notes makes it easy to drink.
