Once again a confirmation that Czech beer is difficult to brew outside the Czech Republic. Nørrebro has brewed a good, Danish pilsner, but it lacks the crispness and purity of the Czech water. dj (620) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2014
On tap at the brewpub, April 2014. A golden colour with a small head. A fresh hoppy aroma. A hoppy flavour but pretty bland overall. A slightly bitter, citrus finish. A little watery. SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle as Böhmer Pilsner, 5%. Clear copper with a medium sized white head. Grass, grain, straw, sulphur, a bit malty sweet. Medium body, soft texture, soft carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Easy drinking and nice to have in the fridge. Defreni (3153) - Husum, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2013
on tap at the brewpub. weird version of czech in the name but apart from the spelling it’s reasonably faithful to the original - pale golden with a lingering head; lightly grassy aroma, a good hit of bitterness, restrained malt character. a good interpretation of the style if perhaps a tad thin

BF 2013. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts with mild grains, floral, fruity and grassy notes in a nice mellow balance. Flavour is sweet malts, some slight fruits, quite big grassy, herbal and earthy notes. A pleasant easy to drink pils.
courtesy of Antonio Rey - clear golden beer with a little foam left; some oily grassy hoppiness; medium-bodied, crisp and clean palate; grassy bitterness, very dry Leighton (21074) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2013
Draft at the brewpub - Copenhagen. Pours clear, rich gold with a moderate, creamy white head. Crisp, doughy malt nose with hints of anise. Light to medium sweet flavor with bready malt, light hay, faint spices, anise. Light to medium bodied with fine to average, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with light bitter hay, some straw, mild dough. Tasty but could use some more dry bitterness. Nice overall. Desverger (11081) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle from Irma, Copenhagen - Hazy amber/orange with large frothy white head. Crisp grassy light malty aroma taste. Ok overall.
