Editor’s note: Çeske Böhmer has been made from all organic ingredients since November 2011. All ratings of the beer after that date should be entered here.

Japalo (1887) - - JAN 27, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2014 [email protected] cafe/brass. Name pilsner økologisk. Propably the same as this one. Golden clear small head. Leatherbelt aroma. Dusty taste. So so. Rerated 1/8-14 home. Dark golden clear. The one finger evaporated quick. Very malty and butterscots. A bit too flat for a pils.

Bottle from Biomarket. BB 25.01.2018. Sweet toffee and butter, damn, I should’ve read the previous comments, this (batch?) is obviously flawed. Even the mouthfeel is buttery. Wet grains, no grassy hops to speak of. Acridic finish. Nothing here that reminds me of a Czech Pils. Bah. Drainpour.

Marduk (8404) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 22, 2017
400ml bottle. Pale yellow color. Medium size, white head, stays. Sweet, malty, corn, buttery in aroma. Sweet, malty, grainy, some hop elements and milky in taste. Grainy and milky in aftertaste. Crisp carbonation. Poor brew.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2017 400ml bottle (BioMarket Balti Jaam, Tallinn)
Sweet malty aroma, citrussy, a bit macro, some smokiness. Crisp palate. Nice bitterness. Sweet malty body, plenty of latvia going on here - diacetyl. It’s a good job I like diacetyl, or I’d hate this. Started macro, improved to flawed-traditional. Meh. Nice bitter bite, though.

Hazy gold with nice head. Aroma of grain and a bit of nobel hops. Taste fairly clean, grainy, with a bit of vegetative note. I’ve had better.
