COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A golden beer with a little haze. A small off-white head sits on top. Fruity nose with tea-notes and lots of hops. The malts are saved for the flavor, and even there the hops are dominating. A sweet maltyness supports the fruity and piney hops that give a nice bitterness and also some hints of tea. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Bitter, piney finish. A lovely hop-driven beer that should see a life on bottles. 091022

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2009
It’s slightly hazy, warm golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of spruce, exotic fruits and citrus. The flavor has a light sweetness and loads and loads of exotic fruits, orange citrus fruits and flower on a discrete bare of caramel. It is incredibly well balanced and smooth with a very low bitterness, it’s VERY refreshing and aromatic – I wish I had a private tap with this beer...

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2009
On tap. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Very fresh aroma of pine and grapefruit. Meedium body, lightly sweet fruit accents but otherwise completely dominated by the fresh aroma hops that leave a balancing bitterness but never gets too overwhelming. This is SO well crafted and SO in balance, and once again Shaun E. Hill proves to be the master of APAs. 221009
