NosirIwont (2572) - Husum, - DEC 4, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2016 Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 27.02.17. Pours a clear, deep, dark amber/brown, with a disappearing tan head. Aroma is dried fruits, malt, hint of molasses and a light spicy note. Same flavour, but with more outspoken spicy and molasses notes, as well as a light (rye) bread note. More spices in the finish. Cinnamon? Cardamom? Lingering mild to medium bitterness and a light tart note. A wee bit too much carbonation. Overall pretty okay. 08.05.16.

Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 06.05.13. As ’Baldersbrønde Nordsjællands Jul’. Pours a clear dark amber/brown with a diminishing khaki head. No lacing. Aroma is somewhat sweet with a tart twist and a fruity note, giving it a sort of yoghurt feel ...peach melba flavour, I believe. Light malt in the background. As it warms, the yoghurt-thing settles a bit down, and the fruity note approaches raisin, but doesn’t quite get there, while the malt gains a bit more influence. Flavour is dusty and malty, sweet and with some (dark) fruit notes. Light spicy notes as it warms; cloves and a touch of citrus. Tart and mildly bitter finish with a lingering grainy note. Overall a rather boring beer, and a bit unbalanced. 04.12.12.

Well spiced, good balanced body and fine ABV, that gives you a good christmas experience.

Bottle 40cl. Brown with almost no head. Strong nose of spices which reminds me of medicine or similar. Not nice. The taste is unfortunate having too much spice. Not my beer.

Bottle. Clear dark purple color, small white head. Malty nose, same taste with a slightly bitter note, and hints of nuts and yeast. Medium body, soft carbonation.

40 cl bottle from a random grocery store in Copenhagen. Clear amber coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma (orange-peels and carnation?) with caramel and belgian yeast. Taste reflects the aroma. Medium bodied. Medium bitterness. And low to medium carbonation.

djoeye (5072) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 15, 2015
Look; straw top layer, hazy mahogany body. Aroma; dark caramel, toffee, sweet fruits, nut, ginger cinnamon, dates. Taste; dark caramel, coriander, ginger, cinnamon, cardamum, clove, vanilla, anise, soft hops, light roasted malts - finishes in spiced yuletide caramel. Feels fine, rye gives fruitiness. Overall; really a yuletide evening drink. [40cl btl, 7%abv, BB.29.2.2016, Gift fr DK]
