Bottle. Thx. to Max for bringing this to Bangalore for me to taste: Very dark brown coloured with a slightly red gleam. Huge light brown dense head. Lasting. Aroma of vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, light roast, light coffee and some fruits. Nice Flavour of coffee, roast, chocolate and a slight touch of herbs. Very dry. Medium to full bodied. Has a roasty and spicy end with light coffee and chocolate lingering on the lips and palate. Smooth and balanced. Very nice, when you have not had a porter for a VERY long time.

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Pours dark blackish brown with a fine, creamy, cappucino head. Nice duration. Complex aroma, some wood, roasted, chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, yeast, raisins, plums, cloves. Lowish carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is good. Starts out with notes of bourbon, wood, raisins and Christmassy spices. Then a great, dry cocoa-powder chocolate goodiness settles. Minimal woody tart notes throughout. A bit light perhaps, but instantly drinkable. Nice.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - JAN 26, 2009
Poors dark brown with a medium brown head. Aroma holds lots of roasted notes, along with spicy notes of cloves, honney and delicate bourbon alchohol. Flavor is medium sweet, spicey with a light fresh roasted bitterness and some honney sweetness leading to a spicey finish. Spices works well for a change!

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2009
Black colored with little light brown head. Chocolaty roasted coffee aroma with mild smokiness. Medium to full bodied, soft palated. Flavor is more roasted with mild chocolate in it, aftertaste turns to hopped and dry. Good one with fine balance.
