Good. Quite malty. Bottle at Slow Beer with my beautiful wife. Aromas of burnt caramel and wood. Taste is sweet, slightly sour with average length. Palate is velvety and medium bodies. Dark brown with a frothy head.

400 ml bottle at home - bottled February 2012. Incredible bouquet of aromas: plums with roasted malts and rosewater, cherries and strawberries? Body is much more watery than expected but still malty notes and taste of malts and light yeast.

Cervesa amb molt bona presència d’escuma, molt torrada. Cerveza con mucha presencia de espuma, muy tostada.

Pours treacle black with a creamy head. This is a 100% organic beer. This is a very smooth porter type beer.

3.7
McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - JUN 2, 2013
Brown and dark ruby red in colour with a small tan fading head. Develops notes of caramel, sweet malt, bitter chocolate. Thin and slick texture with medium-fully body. Layers of light chocolate bitterness and sweetness develop on the palate. Rather low in carbonation. Finish is medium lasting with a predominant light bitterness. Nice beer.

3.7
Foffern (1982) - Bodø, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2014
Bottle at home. Has a unclear deep reddish brown colour with a medium, creamy, khaki head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, leather, wild berries, dried fruit and forest floor. The flavour is more roasted with coffee, leather, dark wood and hops in the background. Nice ash-like aftertaste. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A well-balanced, rich and pleasant brown ale.
