500mL bottle from DK. Pours dark amber with zero head. Not a huge nose, but nice notes of vanilla, oak and spice. Body is very malty, spicy with good hop bite. Finish a bit too bitter and long for my liking. hirigalzkar (3127) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2010
Bottle. Strange orange color. Really hazy. This is a perfect barley wine! With ageing this could be a world class beer. Hops and sweet vegtables in aroma. Flowery sweet taste of hops, cookies and sweet vegtables. Small bitterness in the end. Fat and oily barley wine monster. finol (3359) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 10, 2010
Pours cloudy orange without any head.
Hoppy and sweet. Complex but drinkable. cellar (508) - Dublin, IRELAND - DEC 14, 2009
Dark cloudy reddish amber. Nice creamy head. Strong malty vinious aroma of caramel, dark fruit, clocolate and flowers. Spices on palate. Flavour is powerful, starting sweet with good bitterness in finish for great balance. Alko well hidden, can definitly feel it, and smell and taste it the good way. deyholla (11479) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 24, 2009
Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy light brown with a slight amber hue. Aroma had notes of cereal, bread, malt, and undertones of vanilla and alcohol. The alcohol is a bit more present with a sweet bread/cereal flavor. Quite thick on the tongue.

Thanks to NoLiberty for opening this via Shaun E. Hill...
Appears a hazy brown with a small, off white cap. Spotty bits of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of heavy sugary, caramel, toffee, vanilla, fruit, and gentle hopping.
Taste is of resinous, sticky sugar, raisins, ripe fruit, oak, vanilla, and a touch of molasses.
Mouthfeel is sticky, hoppy, sugary, smooth, with mild heat shown from the abv. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2009

Tastes of caramel, dark fruits, brown sugary sweet, vanilla, caramel, and some vinous notes. Sweet, but not cloying. Medium to heavier alcohol in the finish. egajdzis (6499) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 9, 2009
