COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Plovmand (8312) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2010
Tap at the Brewery. Pitch black with a creamy light tan head. The aroma is lots of roasted coffee beans, roasted malt and caramel. The coffee is truly fresh and lovely in this. The flavour is cappochino like with the coffee and light sweet caramel. Some cocoa as well. Lovely.

A Sim rate (on tap at Norrebro Bryghus): smells much better than te Starbucks coffee I drank at 5am this morning. Clean, crisp espresso aroma. Cream, roasty coffee beans, chocolate. The flavour is a more delicate version of the aroma. It’s so incredibly smooth..like a nice latte. Sweet cream finish with another espresso hit. It’s really really good.

thewolf (12597) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2010
Tap @ CBF, 2010.
Pours darkish black-brown with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, coffee. Light mouthfeel, highish carbonation, lovely dryness. Powerful flavours, lots and lots of coffee, roasted, dark chocolate. Long, lingering bitter coffee finish. Really impressive for the ABV.

faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 2, 2010
Draught. Pitch blæack colour, small but steady dark brown creamish head leaving a good lacing. Lots of coffee and roasted malt in the very pleasant aroma. The mouthfeel is good but a bit thin for my liking. Roasted malt indeed with lots of coffee in the flavour along with chocolate beans and dark fruits and liqourice. Nice!

100ml draught. Deep, dark coloured body. Shining surface with fragile bubbles. Smell of roasted dark malts. Dark cocoa taste with coffee grounds. Roasted, dry and not too sweet. Medium bodied. Well made porter (Københavnske Øldage, 06.05.2010).

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2010
Lovely coffe flavour, but the porter base is dry enough to make sure it does not get too sticky. Nothing spectacular, but very nice.

abemorsten (3615) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - JUN 14, 2010
Draught at the ground floor lounge of Nørrebro Bryghus. Black with a large light brown head and excellent lacing. Coffee, roasted malts and liqorice in the aroma. Sweet and roasted bitter flavors with chocolate, coffee present in a light acidic finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. A very good porter!

From tap. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark coffee and roasted malt. Toffee and caramelish. Smooth toffee and coffee flavoured. Lingering toffee and coffee finish, nice a mellow - low on the herbal coffee notes.
