UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 (On tap) Unusual summer beer from Nørrebro: a pale, top-fermented ginger spiced beer - with lime! Very exotic indeed. Very pronounced flavour from the ginger with acidic, citrusy notes reminding me of a shandy - or Radler. Nice quencher on a hot summers day - if nothing more. 060604 duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2004

Bryghus. Sweet ginger softdrink type flavour, soft palate. A lot better than other ginger beers i’ve i had. Its sweet, but not as sickly sweet as others i’ve had, it was a hot day in Copenhagen so it worked nicely anyway, even if i didn’t like it so much.
Golden colour with a fast disappearring head. Smells a bit like yoghourt - sour and sweet. The taste is sour of lime and very sweet with a bit ginger. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2004
It has a pleasant ginger aroma, but the flavour doesn’t have much to do with beer. However I had it on a hot summer day and it works for that. JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - JUL 28, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2006 (on tap)Never where much into good-beer-gone-bad. Tried it several times and the brewers acutally did come out with an OK result, compared to the first tryouts. But in the herb-beer genre it still dosen´t mke it very good. Pale orange with no head and way to weird for me.

Draught: Golden coloured. Filtered. Off white medium lasting head. Medical, herby and spicy aroma. Ginger is very dominating. Almost reminds me of candy (in danish: Bolcher). Flavour is overwhelmingly sweet. Is like some of those gingerblendings I use to make for my indian curries. Quite funny for a beer. Is cloyingly sweet in the aftertaste. Find this beer quite amusing and not unpleasant in small doses. MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2004
This is a misunderstanding. Should never have been produced. Sweet, watery body with a weak spicy aroma, almost killed by a syrup sweetness. ToolHead (266) - København, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2004
On-tap at Nørrebro Bryghus. Served in tall glass with stem. Clear gold color. Obvious ginger presence in the aroma. The taste is dominated by pickled ginger and quickly gets a bit cloying. The finish is slightly dry which helps the drinkability.
Ginger can be very refreshing in beer, but in this case isn’t. Ungstrup (37677) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2004
[I rate this not bearing in mind how it came to be] An orange beer with a small head. The aroma is dominated by ginger. The flavor is also dominated by ginger on a sweet malty background, which gives way to a dry ending. so for a beer that went wrong, this is quite good. jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2004
Light golden color with a white head. The taste is water with ginger and citrusy notes. Tastes artificiak and lemony citrusy. Another one of those... Ups something went wrong, lets add some syrup and see what happens.
