Pours clear amber with large frothy head. Aroma of carmel and bread. Light sweetness. light body, soft carbonation, long finish, oily feel. Overall easy drinking. Fantastic beer in general and possibly the top organic beer I’ve tasted. Highly recommended. nazzty (1376) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2014
Really nice lager with one in almost perfect balance. Good fullness and neat bitterness. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Bottle at Baden Powell. Great malty beer, it feels like a nice ESB. Aromas of nuts, caramel, hint of citrus. Taste is sweet, with average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, with a thin head. berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - NOV 3, 2011
[New York Lager Økologisk] Bottle (40cl) from Vinmonopolet (Skøyen), Oslo. Inch-thick offwhite head, good retention - settles as an uneven film with some lacing. Clear, nice deep golden colour. Aroma of malt, mildly funky hops, hay, caramel. Very well-balanced taste, discreet sweetness, pronounced hop bitterness, dry and slightly acidic finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice one. Excelent lager. Not a great fan, but this one got me.
It has a malty and floral nose. The flavour balances the caramel sweet and the hops bitterness. Also has a clean ending.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy, deep amber with an unstable dark white head. clear aroma of hop, malt, and dried herbs. very hoppy, pleasant taste. slightly bitter aftertaste. A nice thing. fellebag (1475) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle 40cl. Nice golden color, fresh white head. Well carbonated. Aroma has elderberries and hops. Lovely bitter hops here, but no overkill. Sense of butter and caramel. Smooth and natural.

Says fresh&hoppy on the label. That is as true as it is also freshly hopped. Very nice lager.

Cor de um dourado escuro com leve turbidez é muito brilhante; espuma um pouco amarela de média formação e média persistência com pouco lacing;
Aroma de pão e floral de lúpulos frescos;
Sabor inicial amargo e de caramelo um pouco torrado com final amargo e seco e um pouco picante; retrogosto adstringente e refrescante com uma sensação mentolada.
Corpo leve e carbonatação leve.
Alta drinkability. alvorcem (5) - - FEB 12, 2015 does not count
Uma bela lager, de visual dourado escuro, quase cobre. Em boca ela mostra a presença do malte e do lúpulo, muito bem equilibrados. Recomendo
