Beer Festival 2010. Low brown-shaded blond head. Body is clear, dark reddish amber. Discreet, nutty malt aroma. Fruit notes and a touch of spices. Taste is light peppery, softly roasted malts, and a certain berry fruitiness with a sourish twist. A fine bitterness is there to balance. Medium to light body. Soft in the mouth. Nutty malt finish with a discreet hop bitterness. A well-made and moreish brown ale.
