On tap at Ølfestival 2011. Looking gorgous this one, a dense, tan head of finger thick size sits on top of a black body, leaving lacings as it’s drunk. A pity the aroma and flavor don’t follow up. Not that they’re bad, they’re just not standing out, with roasted malts, chocolate and some dried fruits in the aroma. The flavor has some sweetness, yet it feels quite dry on the palate, chocolate and roasted malts too. Long finish with a roasted malts-like bitterness. Full-bodied and smooth. A pleasant and easy drinking beer that looks drop dead beautiful. 110526 stobbe74 (3790) - DENMARK - JUL 5, 2011
