Pours black with a light beige head. Dry with some sourness. Aromas of smoked malts and hints of berries. Also aromas of roasted malts and hints of dark chocolate. Sour finish with more roasted malts. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - MAR 17, 2010
Black of color with an off white head. An aroma of smoke, prunes, weak sour and weak sweets. A flavor of smoke, sour, weak bitter and lees sweets. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2010
On tap. Pours completely black and opaque with a tiny light brown head with poor retention. Surprisingly the aroma is dominated by a distinct tartness. Also overripe dark fruit rather than burned malts. Medium body, the tartness prevails, again the dark fruit dominates - decomposing plums. Discreet wooden accents also and towards the finish some hard roastiness comes through. Even in the finish the distinct tartness is present - was this intended? 050210 JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - MAR 10, 2010
(on tap) Very much tar in the first aromas, less smoke. It´s a dark beer for sure, beige head. Waterish finish, in all aspects, a beer brewed well to the style. But, it also gets very sour; a tangy feel. Seems like a great deal of porters and stouts, overloaded with black malts and liqourice, tend to get this flaw; really ruins the drink after a while. Not a long finish, either. Skinnyviking (9569) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2010
Draught. Medium high creamy and lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Powerful tar like aroma with liquorice and a hint of smoke. Heavily carbonated roasted malt flavor with sweet and yet slightly sour notes as well as liquorice tobacco and smoke. Long bitter aftertaste. Wonder if was infected ?

Black colour with small tan head.
Sweetish fruity (plum) aroma with roasted malt.
Dry hoppiness, sweet fruits, roasted malt and alcohol warmth in flavour.
Good Porter/Stout but I didn’t get much smoke.
Tap at Nørrebro. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice and hops. A little acetic. faroeviking (10910) - FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 2, 2010
Draught at the brewery. The aroma has more brett than smoke, roasted malt and some dark fruit. Good mouthfeel. Sourish brett roasty malty bit woody flavour, some chocolate and dark fruits/ berry coming through the brett along with a good dryness and bit of wood. Roasty malty sourish bit sweet berry finish. Smoked brett brew, what a surprise. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2010
Black with a tiny beige head. Sweet and sourish aroma with burned malt, dark chocolate and hints of smoke. Sweet and sourish flavour with, dark chocolate, smoke and burned malt. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 26, 2010
Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt as well as hints of smoke and brett. The flavor is sweet combined with a lightly acidic woody brett note and strong notes of roasted malt and lighter notes of wood and chocolate, leading to a dry, roasted, and a bit tart finish.
