A "colonial" ale brewed in accordance with colonial methods with english pale ale malt, light cane sugar and tasmanian experimental hops. Appears golden, with a fresh bitterness and flowery and fruity aroma. A refreshing wedding brew.
A one time special brew for the royal wedding on 14 May 2004.

Draught @ DBF2004. Hazy orange color with no head. The aroma is fresh of fruit (orange) and hops. The flavor very fresh containing notes of hops, peaches, strawberries, before a dry end sets in.

Gazza (727) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2004
An unusual spicy hoppiness is the main characteristic of this deep amber brew with a malty body and finish. (Draught in Nørrebro Bryghus, Kobenhavn)

MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2004
Sampled at Danish Beer Festival 2004: Rather sweet, weak and boring. Nothing special. A bitwatery in both flavour and aftertaste. Congratulations Frederik and Mary...

rauchbier (3933) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2004
Tap, at the brewpub May 2004. Amber, moderate white head and gentle condition. Low fruity malt aromas with some developing but subdued hop notes. Much the same in the mouth, both the malt and hops jostle briefly for attention but soon realise no one cares and give up. Bitter hops seize the opportunity and assert themselves in the finish.

ToolHead (266) - København, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2004
Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus; served in Nørrebro Bryghus glass with stem. Orange-gold color. Fresh aroma with flowery hop presence; the taste is bitter, dominated by the hops, has good bite and some sweetness, especially in the finish; pleasant, lively mouthfeel; good drinkability.

fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2004
Golden color. The aroma is simple, the taste more interesting, almost like a light IPA. Malt and caramel over the hop aromas.

madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2004
Draught @ DBF2004: Golden coloured. Off white head. Is fruity in the nose. Sweet and light hoppy flavour, but not very distinct. Is light bitter in the end. Easy drinkable, but nothing to run for.

omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2004
Sampled draught at Dansk Ølfestival.
Deep golden, almost clear. Fruity malt is dominating. Dortmunder-like dense, sweet maltiness. Low hop rate, just some bitterness.

Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2004
A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is fresh of fruit especially oranges and hops. The flavor very fresh containing notes of hops, peaches, strawberries, before a very dry end sets in.

jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2004
Deep golden color with little or no head. The taste is light malts with earthy or nutty notes. Light hoppy palate. Served too cold as always.
