Draught @ CBF 2012Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2012
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and oak. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long roasty, chocolate and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap @ Ølfestival København 2012. I just found this ones brother, the Bordeaux Barrel one, just about as good as a beer can get, so I have some high hopes for this one as well. It pours a pitch black oily and thick body with a small and sidesticking almost bubbly chocolate head. On the aroma this one is really really dark and black. Heavy roasted with licorice, leather, some salty chocolate tones. Really nice! It has a thick and chewy texture with a soft carbonation level. The flavor does not disappoint in this one. It’s just so faaantastic roasted with wood, burned wood, salty licorice and leather before it ends light dark-fruity. Amazing indeed, and all I can think about now is to go back to the stand and get a new glass of this! 10.05.2012 SirLimpsalot (4288) - SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2012

Draught @ Ølfestival KøbenhavnMarsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2012
Pours pitch black with a tiny bubbly sticky head. Roasty and wooden aroma with coffee, chocolate, vanilla and licorice. Taste is roasty and bitter with chocolate, wooden vanilla and licorice notes. Finish is sticky and complex. Great, well balanced and tasty imperial stout.
(Draught) Pours black. The aroma holds boatloads of tar-ish and coffee-like malt. Roasted and burned with green hops in the background. Quite dry on the nose. The flavour is light to medium sweet, medium bitter and light acidic with notes of asphalt, dry bitter cocoa, coffee and citric hops. Resinous and roasted aftertaste. The mouthfeel is quite fat, round and light oily with a light carbonation. Lingering bitterness. Medium to full bodied.
