Black with a light brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, wood, coffee) and hoppy. Flavor heavy sweet and bitter, not harmonic. Full body with lot’s of alcohol. I would like to make a rerating later.
On tap at Copenhagen beer festival. Poured a dark brown with a brown head. Aroma consisted of Chocolate and coffee with sweet notes. Flavor was dominated by chocolate and coffee with a slightly with some vanilla which for me was a little much. FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2009

Sample at CPH beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Some vanilla notes as well. Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2009
On tap. Completely opaque black with a handsome, creamy, light brown nitro head leaving laces. Very burned and fat malt aroma. Very, very full-bodied with plenty of hard roasted malty goodness. A delicious hint of vanilla. The finish has a burned malty bitterness with a lingering sweetness underneath. A very, very serious Imperial Stout reminding me, that you do not need a wooden barrell to make a tremendously classy brew in this style. 160509 Plovmand (8635) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2009
Pitch black, dark brown head. Roasty character with notes of chocolate and coffee. Lots of hops here as well. Lovely powerfull flavour of chocolate, hops, coffee, lots of roasted malt and caramel. Creamy thick bodied. Very hoppy and complex beer.
