Clear dark black color with a large, creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, chocolate, vanila, berry - blackcurrant, toffee notes as it warm’s up, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, light acidic blackcurrant - coffee - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, light brown head. Distinct coffeeish aroma with a tart berry touch. Medium body, hard roasted malt - slightly ashy - and then again distinctly tart and fresh berry notes without being clearly identifiable as blackcurrant. Finish is also tart with a light malt bitterness. Very fresh and heavily carbonated. 081109 Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2009
Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown beer. The aroma has both sweet and acidic notes copmbined with roasted malt and lighter notes of stored and lightly dried black currant. The flavor is sweet with notes of black currant - somewhat stored, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted black currant finish. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2009

Pours deep redish black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma is roasted at first, then chocolate, then lts of tart black currants. Highish carbonation, light and elegant mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, lightly roasted, lots of dry, zesty tartness and a then a good, long roasted malts bitterness. Good, and actually surprisingly well balanced.

Mild citric black currant fruity with a hint of coffee and liqourice. Lingering fruity and bitter finish. Increasing citric/bitter/dry finish. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2009

Draught, thanks Shaun. Black colour with a medium beige head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma of black currant berries, chocolate and roasted malt. Pleasant filling mouthfeel. The flavour has plenty of black current berries with roasty malt, chocolate, good sweetness, pleasant soft bitterness and a mild tart touch towards the roasty black currant choclatey finish. Yum indeed!
