Ungstrup (37583) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2006
A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with a thick fruity note of peaches and dried apricot. The flavor is sweet with a strong alcohol note hitting early, then the malt, and fruit comes along, this time with notes of oranges, and peaches, as well as some spices - like Kongen af Danmark - licorice.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2006
UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 (On tap) A rerate. Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, spicy aroma with some yeast. Quite full-bodied, sweetish with lots of fruit and yeast. the finish is lightly bitter. A Tripel can hardly ever be called clean, but I believe this is about the closest imaginable you get to the style. Very delicate indeed. 140407

Draught. Small white but lasting head. Hazy golden body. Sweet and fruity aroma, flowers and honey. Flavor is sweet and honey is dominant. Alcohol is well hidden, just a bit in the aftertaste.

pubbe (493) - Højbjerg, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2006
Draught at Beerfestival in Denmark (Horsens). Cloudy golden orange, with little off-white head. Aroma with plenty of syrup, cane sugar and banana. Sugar and alcohol is suplemented with orange peel and citrus in the taste. Creamy on the palate. Good lasting finish with a nice balance between acid and sugar. Well made but maybe a little bit to sweet to my taste.
