Black of color with a brown creamed head. An aroma of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. A flavor of roasted malt, coffee and spice. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
KØ07. Very black colour, small brown head. Good roasted flavour with a hint of vanilla. The aftertaste has some roasted barley bitterness. I liked it. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught. It’s black/brown with a reddish hue and a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee and a slightly perfumed vanilla sweetness. The flavour is smooth and nice with notes of roasted malt, a slightly perfumed vanilla sweetness and notes of coffee. In one way quite interessting, but at the same time a bit weird. 2219 yespr (48968) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 28, 2007
CBF07 sample from tap. Pours black with a good brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, flavour is the same with a light uplifting from the vanilla. Finish is slight citric blended int the coffee and chocolate malt notes. Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2007
Draught @ Copenhagen Øl Festival. Average creamy brown head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Black colour. Creamy like chocolate and liquorish. Some coffee and vanilla and perfume. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Balanced sweet and bitter roasted flavour. Nice sweet finish.

This is too much. Very dark brown. A loy of vanilla. Roasted, coffee, chokolate. Is it their La Granja Stout with too much vanilla ?? Don’t make this again !! Ungstrup (38986) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2006
An almost opaque deep red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very sweet and very spicy with notes of vanilla, violets, and coffee standing out. The flavor is extremely sweet with a somewhat weird combination with the vanilla, but also with notes of coffee and cocoa, lending the end a bit of roastyness. It is too sweet for my liking and I’d also like a roasted character earlier. duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2006

øbenhavnske Øldage. Well the name of the beer really does give it away. Its a nice roasty stout, with sweet vanilla cream character. Chocolatey aswell. Probably a little sweet for me, slghtly artificial.
Black colour with a creamy light brown head. Light roasted malty aroma with a vanilla/ milk chocolate sweetness. Vanilla sweet flavor with a light roasted coffee bitterness.
