Pours a good-looking light golden body with tiny floaties and a small white top. Aroma is original, complex and very nice: coriander, horseradish, celery, citric peels and some herbal yeasty notes. Taste is classic tripel with an original angle: molasses, dry floral hops, peppery tones and a smooth bland of coriander and citrus fruitiness. Full-bodied mouthfeel, yet refreshing and perfectly balanced between bitter and sweet. VårTripel ("spring tripel") from Nørrebro is definitely a fine-tuned brew; this is the best of the genre I’ve had in a very long time. Perhaps ever. :-) kschep (1707) - DENMARK - JUL 5, 2010
