A very decent and drinkable IPA, though somewhat overated. Cellared for several months though still in fine shape. A real super-foamer, I needed three tall glasses, as the foram kept coming. Decent average golden glow yellow, with lots of white foam of course. Soft mouthfeel, easy drinking and reasonable bitterness. GodOfThunder (1271) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 2, 2009
On draft at the brewpub. Sweet citrus hops in the nose. Light, sweet and not overly bitter taste. A decent IPA. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - DEC 28, 2008
Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. When I visited brew pub last June the did not have this. Rusty came though with a new ipa for me. Earthy floral aroma. Hazy gold body with big white head and some decent lacing. Flavor more english style with caramel malt the dominate flavor. Easy to drink and some sluge sediment found at bottom of pint glass. Was also eating a some banana bread with second glass good pairing. Special thanks to Ms. Gomes for the bread. ford9719 (371) - Vilseck, GERMANY - DEC 15, 2008

Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and pine hoppy aroma. Medium body with a oily slick texture. Moderate to heavy bitter flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration.
Very good brew.

11/05/2008: North by Northwest Kodiak IPA pours a hazy golden color and has puffy white head and fine, detailed lacing. The fresh citrusy aroma contains sugary orange and grapefruit and other candied fruit (peach?) along with a touch of spruce/resin as well. The the flavor is also fresh and lively. It is well balanced between the hoppiness, toffeee maltiness, and bitterness. This IPA is medium-light to medium in body and soft on the palate. It is very good and very enjoyable. Another solid IPA.

Bomber from Kaggie97; Nose is floral and lemony hops with a light caramel note; hazy orange with a big glass-lacing pale yellow head; flavor is bitter with some cardboard that increases with the temperature; somewhat oxidized. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2008
Draught at GABF 2008. Clear yellow - white head. Nice hoppy, knækbrød, swedish flatbread, fruity, resin, grassy, fresh grass, lovely hoppy, light malty body. OK !!! theisti (4206) - Kansas, USA - OCT 31, 2008
22 oz bottle shared by Kaggie97. Pour is golden orange, hazed, with a one inch off white head. Floating dregs near the bottom of the glass, nice looking beer. Aroma of really fresh apricot and orange hops. Taste is the hops - fruit hops, bitter resin earthiness that lingered with mineral elements. Palate is thin medium, chewy unfiltered. Nice one, thanks, Kevin. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 29, 2008
Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours copper with a nice off white head. Smells of wildflowers, citrus, light pine. Tastes of pine resin, dry malt, spice, a touch of bitterness, Great!
