Sample at Gabf. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and lemon zest. Medium body, grass, citrus, nice crisp finish, very good. onceblind (10572) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Very clear golden with a thick foamy white head. The aroma has a big note of fresh earthy leafy hops and peppery Saaz. The flavor is pale and gentle but leafy and subtly cracker-like. Sorta middle if the road, at the end of the day. angrypirate06 (1388) - Texas, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Bottle from the brewpub. Bottled on 9/25/13. Batch 1455.56. Bottle 17. Clear straw yellow pour with white head. Nose is straw, clean esters, noble hops. Flavor is straw, fairly bitter, grain, earthy hops. Very dry finish. Solid pils! 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle:   Orangish straw, very hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Figured it would be fairly clear... hmmm...   Sweet straw/hay on the nose.   Minor grass, smidgen of hops, and some powder sugary citrus sweetness.   Sweet straw/hay on the tongue, subtle hops, not too biting, decent body, clean.   Becomes a little dry as it warms.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not too crisp, but nice flavors.   Thanks Bill! deyholla (12276) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2012

(Draught) Pours a clear orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of soap, lemon zest, toasted grain, and honey. Flavor of toasted grain, lemon, grass, light butterscotch, honey, and nuts. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2011
On tap at the brewpub during North by Northwest’s 2011 Oktoberfest party.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is classic German pilsener. I get a lot of bread and biscuit malt with some grass from the hops. The flavor is a mix of malt and grain, with some grass and a low to medium amount of bitterness. The beer is very easy to drink and one you could have multiples of. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice pilsener. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Clear golden, 1/2 inch white head. Lots of carbonation. Crisp malty aroma. Great American beer taste, bitter, earthy, smooth, malty and a little sweet. Quiet finish. Quick bite. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 10, 2010
(Draught) clear golden with a film of white bubbles. Nose of raw grain, light fruit, earth, cracker and butter. Taste of earth, mild pine bitterness, cracker and buttery. A classic pilsner. Soft carbonation and a buttery linger. mmmbeer (1429) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Several draught glass @ the joint- served a transparent yellow/gold color, 4mm white head did lace upon the glass. Aroma of hops and wheat. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is subdued but still very enjoyable, middle has a very pleasant bitterness from the hops, finish is very crisp, dry, and begs for another sip. This is the first documented beer that my wife upon having a snort of mine then proceded to have more of these than I did over the course of the evening(5 v. 2)- she doesn’t like beer by the way...
