Draught, small creamy head, a touch hazy pale orange color, aroma of lemon with a shrubby hint and some malt in the back, flavor of lemon and aloysia, medium herbal shrubby bitterness. Very nice and very drinkable. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 7, 2014
tap at brewpub
pours bright orange hue with a small sudsy white head. nose is herbal, citric, lightly bready, cracker and some nice earthy tones. flavors are very bright citrus but very lite bitterness. body is crisp and easy to drink-very sessionable. could be pretty low abv around 5%. long herbal and slightly bitter finish of grapefruits. decent pale ale here! alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUN 30, 2008
On tap at the brewpub; was a little skeptical based on its claim of being in the style of Northwest. However, it did not disappoint. Poured an orange color; didn’t make notes of the head. Aroma was citrus and fruity; flavor was similar with only a moderate bitter bite at the end. However, the hop flavor was spot on; good for the style. Probably this place’s best offering, which isn’t saying much. Somebody, ANYBODY, tell the brewmaster to PLEASE USE SOME HOPS!!! SphinxTX (2878) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2009
Growler thanks to angrypirate06. Pours a bright gold with white head. Aroma of lemon and pine. Flavor of Pine Sol and pecan shell. Mouth feel is light body. Overall, an interesting beer.

Cloudy yellow. Medium body with a clean finish. Floral aromas and flavors with a little honey and piney hops. joet (2662) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - JUN 6, 2003
An absolute disgrace. This is a catastrophe of cookie malts meeting semi-bright English hops at a sub-interesting threshhold. Barely finishable. I'm pissed off. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Tap at Brewery. Good aroma of sweet citrus and floral aroma also. Orange body color with decent head. Good cirus orange flavor medium bodied beer with a mild bitter on the finish. Good brew while the bartender was packing up couple of bottles and growler for me. lb4lb (2632) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2008 Pours light golden, with very little head. Aroma is a nice piney hop flavor with maybe some cedar too. I really liked the fresh, woodsy smell of this one. Taste was of some mild hop bitterness, and a good balanced malt behind it. Overall a slightly sweet pale ale that is very drinkable. I liked it a lot and ordered a pint after having it in the sampler. My favorite of the NXNW beers so far. Walt (2449) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 25, 2005
Holy crap...this one totally didn’t suck!!! Poured hazy golden orange with a thin white head...smell is piney with a small dose of grapefruit...nice malt hop balance...where’s the corn? Definately enjoyable...not amazing or outstanding, but good...
