Slightly sour aroma, along with a sweetness. And yeast. Beautiful amber color, with reddish tone. Starts with sweet caramel, moves on to plummy tones. Finishes with toasty malt and a bit of candy sweetness. Maybe some coffee. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2008 on tap at flying saucer. Has a dark brown color with a small light tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malt and raisin. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet malt and hides the alcohol well. A very good Belgian strong ale from north coast. Ratman197 (15354) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 10, 2006
