UPDATED: JAN 28, 2017 Minerally nose with a touch of lemon. Some ripe fruit as it warms up and breathes. Medium body, spritzy with a mild bitterness. Slight harshness in the finish stops it from being one of the great saisons. At 7.9%, alcohol a bit too high for its depth of flavor. Nevertheless, its a good beer.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2017 Spicy floral aroma in a golden pour. Massive saison flavor profile is very tasty if a little in-your-face - albeit in a good way. Probably the most American saison Ive had (maybe a little too strong for the style to my taste).

Pours a cloudy amber to orange with clean white head and some lacing. Aroma of ripe banana, cloves, pineapple, bread and orange, with a touch of spice. Taste is sweet, but not as sweet as expected, with a dry medium bitter, but short to medium finish. Surprisingly light for its ABV and a little disappointing accordingly. Thats not to say its not an enjoyable saison, but for the strength it needs to deliver a lot more flavour for my taste.

Cloudy orange with big white head which dissipates fairly quickly. Musty citrus aroma with taste of spicy hops, bananas and lemon. Fizzy mouth feel and nice dry finish. Very nice saison.

Weltklasse!!! Am Ende ist alles wieder vereinend trocken. Ein Kunstwerk und das aus den USA ;). TAP. STRONGBOWS KIEL. 0,3/4,50.

A disappointment. For a farmhouse ale, it is over-filtered to the point of being sterile. It has many nice aspects, the citrusy aromatics, the tasteful hopping, the balance of flavor - - but it is all weak - - a touch watery - - you strain for the flavors, you miss the lushness, the funk that a beer like this is all about. It is an antiseptic version of a farmhouse ale, and the slick production strips it of zest, punch, richness, and presence. This is a farmhouse ale for city slickers. In high rises.
