Weltklasse!!! Am Ende ist alles wieder vereinend trocken. Ein Kunstwerk und das aus den USA ;). TAP. STRONGBOWS KIEL. 0,3/4,50.

A disappointment. For a ’farmhouse ale’, it is over-filtered to the point of being sterile. It has many nice aspects, the citrusy aromatics, the tasteful hopping, the balance of flavor - - but it is all weak - - a touch watery - - you strain for the flavors, you miss the lushness, the funk that a beer like this is all about. It is an antiseptic version of a farmhouse ale, and the slick production strips it of zest, punch, richness, and presence. This is a farmhouse ale for city slickers. In high rises.

Color entre dorado y ámbar, medianamente turbio debido a los restos de levadura, con capa de espuma blanca de dos dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación a tope. Aroma a levadura, plátano y algo de malta. Sabor frutal (no pillo qué hay de tropical), con gran presencia del plátano y la levadura. Ligerísimo amargor final y carbonatación muy presente en boca. No capto acidez alguna. Extraña Saison. Interesante pero no termina de convencerme.

Delicious aroma. Sunshine clear yellow with an abundant white head that lasts and laces to the last drink. I get a sweetness at the beginning that I find quite appealing. It’s light with soft carbonation and I get absolutely no bitterness at all. This could be the best saison I’ve had to date. I am quite taken with it’s sweetness and really every quality is impressive.

The aroma is of citrus fruit and light malt. The beer is a foggy yellow and the head is thick, though it settles with time. The taste is malt with a strong citrus note that favors lemon. This is a pretty hearty saison. The palate is assaulted with carbonation that lingers for a while, but a oily presence is left behind. This is a more robust version of their petite saison. Not my style, but very well done.

Great mix of Belgian spice and wet basement funk in the smell. Super hazy golden color active head calms to a lasting lair. Super big Belgian spice bold but balanced light banana, clove, nice slow dryness.

Gerbeer (4289) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2016
750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with full head. Aromas of creamy bananas and creamy tropical fruit with bready malts. Smooth and rich, Flavors of spicy banana yeast; melons, mangos, and sweetened citrus; plus doughy malts. Nice carbonation. Beauty.
