[ As North Coast Le Merle ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, artificial, mirabelle. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average duration, mirabelle, artificial, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
From tap. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Delicate citrus and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Milky like flavour, seems off. Flavour is a mix of intense hops bitterness, aroma hops and milky lacto note. Off, yet pleasant. Ungstrup (37300) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2006
An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of hops, as well as a good fruit presence. The flavor is very fruity with notes of mango, oranges, peaches, on a sweet background that also includes notes of caramel. The end is dry and bitter with a slight dusty touch. joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2006

Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, earth and some spices. Flavour is very much the same, but fruits and slight yeasty notes are also there.
Draft @ NCBC, Fort Bragg, CA. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy and slightly yeasty citrus aroma. Sweetish fruity and slightly bitter yeasty flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a fruity spicy yeasty citrus finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy pale golden with a thick, white head with good retention. Aroma of yeast and banana. Rather light body - I never would’ve guessed this to be 7.3% ABV. Fruity and fresh with notes of yeast. Some sulphur in the finish. A decent wheat beer, that’s what it is. 300406 omhper (24970) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 28, 2007
Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, firm head. Aroma of orange and coriander. Sweet, yeasty and fruity. Medium-full bodied with dense, lightly spritzy mouthfeel. Citric and minerally. Yeasty bitter finish. Full flavoured, but just a bit edgy. Leighton (21085) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2010
Tap at Pony Bar. A nice Saison. Pours a hazy, orange-gold with a soft, pure-white head. Nose is funky yeast, bubblegum and light fruits. Flavor is moderately funky - just the right amount for me. Crisp and clean on the finish. Very refreshing and tasty. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2006

Hazy blond color; big creamy head. Some aroma of coriander and oranges. Good mouthfeel, dry malt flavor, sweet, spicy, with a dynamic orange touch. Very good (a sweeter and fruiter Saison).

Muddy golden color. Strange aroma, flowery. Very dry malty taste, some fruitness and resins maybe from the hops, high bitterness with orange peel. Drinkable and refreshing, but quite odd.
