A rustic ale, pale in color, inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Flanders region. Abundant hops and a Belgian yeast strain contribute exotic aromas af tropical fruit.

Editor’s Note: previously known as Whole Foods Silver Jubilee.

Hay and sour summer in the aroma. Looks a bit weird, hazy light yellow with small cream head. Honey sweet taste, light refreshing. Slight taste of alcohol. Taste disappears quite quickly. Interesting beer, but easily forgotten:( ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bright yellow pour. Aroma lemon peel some white pepper. Tastes dry boozy, some rye. By the book a bit underwhelming could be drier.

Backlog, Bottle shared with PAtrickFannon in 2010. Blonde color with a 3 finger large white head. Stays around. Notes of brett, farm, lemon skins, oak, grain, and flowers. Ultra drying and tart finish. Great saison, had to have it.

Bottle pour with little head and no lacing. Weak aroma with not much presence. Flavor is peppery and fruity. Interesting balance.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A sparkling amber, light hazy by several small yeasty sediments ; medium off-white head ; good retention. Biscuit, light caramel, herb, light citrus, alcohol note. Medium round sweet, light warming, light fresh bitter. Medium body, light to medium texture, good carbonation, sweet caramel biscuit finish. Overall, good ! Nice belgian ale.

Bottle from micro bar in and ale centre in Manchester. Pours as golden and hazy with a frothy white head. Nose is sweet and a little fruity. Taste is quite sharp at first, quite hoppy. A little bitter for my tastes.

Bottle. Clear golden color white head. Aroma of flowers and citrus. Taste is earthy mixed stone fruit, dry finish. Very tasty.

Bottle at home. Pale yellow colour, small white head disappears fast. Nose is very nice, lightly funky, spicey vanilla and fresh fruity notes. Taste is low funkyness, low fruityness, spices. Nice mixture of yeast notes, but very subtle and well balaned. Round mouthfeel, little alcoholic warmth. Very nice farmhouse overall, would say that it contains more than one yeast time.

josanguapo (1800) - SPAIN - JUN 22, 2017
From Zombier. In Goose Island glass. Playing Outland. The funk notes are here but kept to a minimum, making it similar to a belgian blonde. The pear, apple and spicy notes dominate
