Overall a pretty good stout. Just a tad to carbonated in my opinion. Nice aroma and flavor.

Pours very dark brown with a brown head. It has a coffee aroma with molasses, roast, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor has coffee, roasted malts, unsweetened chocolate, and toast. It has a moderate body with a dry finish. Overall, this is a roasted malt driven ale with a dry aftertaste highlight by the complexities of the malts.

Bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Pours deep brown with a medium and persistent off-white/beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, nuts, light toffee, nice. Flavour is medium roasted malty with a good bitterness, well balanced, quite dry. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Refined, but I expected something more.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark brown to black with a large tan colored head. The aroma has a sweet chocolate smell mixed with some caramel malt. The taste is boozy chocolate with some caramel.

I bought this bottle in Madrid. I drank it in Sevilla, in a flat, relax. It is a classical stout, on the Irish way. The body is lovely, black creamy color, creamy white foam. The taste is a bit watery, easy to drink for a stout, low carbonation. The taste is with roasted malt, touch of coffee, mineral, sweet at the tongue, little touch of plum or vanilla, hop, it is a perfect pint to start a night in the pub.

bottled 6.7.2016. rather small head as unexpected yet smoothy. pour with malts and coffee aroma, hint of dried dates or some sort. mid bodied, low in carbon, begins with malty and roasted coffee notes, slight sweet and very tiny acid, some cream in the middle, finishes with a clean dry end. good balance and very drinkable. cheers!

Nice firm bodied stout with a mild malt finish. The initial mouth feel is a roasted malt that feels like it may end up overly sweet but it doesn't. A slight cocoa bitter nips keeps in tamed. Really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
