COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

rauchbier (3900) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2005
Bottle conditioned, courtesy of Jacob Lövenlund. Hazy orange, shortlived and quickly dissapearing white head and gentle condition. Fruity, spicy nose with hints of yeast and possibly corriander. Quite full and fruity in the mouth with a background lemony citrus note, a faint medicinal edge and quite a harsh yeastiness that lingers into the finish. Some retronasal alcohol noticable.

bottle-pours a light orange hue with a sudsy big bubble white head. corn surup, sliglhtly sour vinegar aromas with subtle smokey notes (yes, i got mesquite!) and salt water. I dont really like this. flavors of pool water, grainy malt husks, some banana, lite spices. pretty unbalanced if you ask me. has no real direction. fizzy body that doens’t deliver the flavors well. I dont know about this one. maybe i got an infected bottle or something. That pool/chlorine water flavor is just off if you ask me!

Pranqster is not a bad ale, it pours cloudy with a white, frothy head. It tastes good with an average duration.

Bottle. Fruity/estery aroma from a hazy amber/golden colored beer. The flavor is sweet with acidity coming through (not infected or anything). Soft mouth feel and good head with short retention. There is something about this beer that reminds me of some of my less successful home brews .

joergen (28392) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 17, 2005
Cloudy orange colour with an off-white head. Fruity aroma of citrus, spices, apricots and hops. Nice sweet flavour with lots of citrus, grass and hops. Bitter finish. Nice beer, especially on a warm day.

IMtheOptimator (1170) - Brookfield, Connecticut, USA - APR 16, 2005
Sampled at Brewtopia 2005. Poured golden with a thick creamy white head. Aroma of apple, pear and sweet candy. Tastes of banana and apples, with an overall sweet character. Seemed somewhat similar to a hefe. Enjoyable.

SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - APR 14, 2005
Pours a cloudy dark gold with a foamy white head that settles to rest at the top. Lots of sediment throughout and quite a few carbonation bubbles. Smells of light fruit and floral, very fresh and pleasent smelling. Lots of hops apparent. Taste is semi bitter, then almost fruity and then a bit dry and tart in the end. Good complexity. I have to say I liked it

Hazy amber color, with a small off white head. Strong yeast and candy aroma. Clean body, citris tatste with a light body.
