COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Bottle @ home from Kris Wines, London - EN. Color: hazy golden blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: fruity notes, apricot and peach with caramel malt. Domination of belgian yeast. Taste: medium body with really fruity taste like apricot and peach from the belgian yeast. Sweet caramel malt. Easy drainable with good attenuation. Aftertaste: fruity taste, peach and yeast finish.

Pours a very cloudy, unfiltered, almost wheat beer, golden color. Little white head. Okay retention, poor lacing.

Aroma is lemon, bready, barely banana, but some. White pepper maybe....

Taste is yeasty bread crust. Coriander heavy, pretty sweet. Low hops. Very malty. I also taste some vanilla. I also taste some bubble gum on the finish, perhaps.

Mouthfeel is full bodied. Its heavy, but doesnt feel like it, because of its smoothness and flavor. Higher ABV, and its hard to tell it.

Overall, I like this. Most beers of this type, have a sour banana flavor, that I dont like. This is different, which makes me think this may not be exactly true to style. Still, having said that, its delicious. I would recommend it, and buy it again.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a spicy, zesty citrus flavour with vanilla, lemon and earthy notes. Very good.

Bottle from Brewdog mail order. Pours hazy golden, not much head. For me its a bit sweet, and a bit too close to a wheat beer to be a real belgian ale. Cloves, banana, yeast, toffee. Theres a strong ale in here trying to get out but its a bit swamped by sweetness. Close but no cigar.

Excellent Belgium ale. Smooth flavor with decent ABV. I love that it's brewed in my home state of California ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice Belgian yeast aroma, slight touch of wit style banana. Floral initial flavour, with a sharp and spicy finish.

It pours a light golden with a full head that is white packed with small bubbles. There are aromas of pils malt, sweet fruity esters of lemon, spices, and earthly yeast. It has flavors of pils malt that provides a sweet flavor, there are lemon like flavors, with spices, and some earthly yeasts. I has a light feel in the texture with a mostly dry and moderately bitter finish.

On tap in LA. Pour is golden, white head. Fruity belgian yeast esters, sweet up front, finish not particularly dry but still nice. A solid Belgian golden ale, readily available at a good price.
