Nice simpler beer. Not as full as I was expecting, but still quite tasty. This beer is good with an orange or tangerine slice. Comparable to a Blue Moon only with a higher ABV. I like quite strong full beers so for me it leaves some things to be desired. It is definitely worth trying if you like Belgian style ales.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2017 Crafted by North Coast Brewing Co., Pranqster is a Belgian style Golden Ale.
The smell of Belgian yeast and pear is noted. Floral scents are noticed as well. The malty body gravitates the golden ale characteristic.
The flavor of the Belgian yeast dominates the beer. Pear is a nice compliment to the yeast. Green apple is light, and waters and sweetens the drink. Banana gives the beverage some weight and complexion to the body.
Clove provides a pleasing spice to the beer. A faint bitterness is felt in the finish. Each giving the yeast a different experience every time you drink.
Pranqster is an incredible Belgian style Golden Ale. The pear and green apple draws out the golden Ale flavor. The yeast is rich and creamy. North Coast Brewing Co. outdid themselves. Stylized so well to the exemplary Belgian standard, the beer speaks for itself.

25.4floz (750ml) bottle bought for super cheap as part of a three bottle and tulip glassware set a year ago, there is no freshness date found. Poured into one of the said tulip glasses. Appears bright gold with a thin film of head. Belgian style yeasts dominate the nose with floral, lemon, and medicinal aromas. Full in body, but not heavy as the palate evokes mild banana-clove and biscuit flavors. Cleanses well with only a slightest astringency. crazy_cat_lady (660) - - MAY 25, 2017
Bottle from Lucky grocery store in San Carlos. Warm dark golden colour, with a finely bubbled white head. Aromas of straw, lemon, some floral notes and faint spice. Nice full flavours of lemon, straw, some nice spiciness, yeasty. A lovely Belgian ale. BeerRenter76 (1028) - Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2017
Originally rated on 2/13/09. A nice hazy golden yellow body with plenty of carbonation that left nice thick lace. Aroma of yeast,a little fruit, with a touch of spice. Flavor was similar to the aroma but there was a slight metallic hint to it so i couldnt rate it higher in that category. Mouthfeel was decent, and it had a nice finish. Overall it was a pretty good beer, give it a try belgian ale fans. leaparsons (10659) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2017
Bottle, Brewklopedia, Leicester. Burnt brown sugar with cola. Bready. Orange with herbs and spices. Banana with bubblegum. Yeasty with raisins and lemon. A little tinny. Cold black tea. Spicy finish. Decent. migwell (365) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 5, 2017
Had this right after a disappointing Ommegang Witte. Immediate reaction...relief. This one hits the spot as a flavorful, easy drinking brew. Bottle into a big Sam Smith nonic. Not much foam, but a persisting thin white film. The ale is a cloudy yellow/orange with quite visible tiny and active bubbles quickly floating upward. Aroma of bread, spice, yeast. Good full flavor same as the aroma... light on the banana, thank the lords. Crisp, well balanced, dry, very pleasant. A good take on this style and with a bang for your buck as well.
