COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

POured a clear golden color with a small white head...Aroma of wheat, vanilla and corriander...Flavor pretty much follows suit...Some light tones of peach maybe...Brewed well to style...just not my favorite

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. This is an American classic based on a Belgian classic in my opinion. Tons of yeast character, pear, apple, light spicy phenolics.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter glass. The appearance has a one finger, plush white head. The color is cloudy light orange. The aroma is banana, yeast, floral, and clove. The taste is slightly spicy floral hops with a minimal mellowed citrus. A little bit of a straw character there. The high Gravity is sneaky. Great Belgian style strong ale.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Hazy golden amber, white foam. Nice, sweet, estery, spicy. Pear drop, floral. Pretty decent stuff. If I were being hypercritical it felt a bit heavy and less attenuated making it more of a boozy mouthful than some Belgian Belgians.

This is one of those American Belgian beers which is American brewing at the top of its game. Belgian style robust flavours. A merry prankster indeed. Colour is rich golden Amber to orange with a soft medium white foam head. Nose is fresh apricot fruit, lovely yeasty fruit esters, little ripe banana, pale cereal malts, slight fruit must. Taste is nice crisp fruity Belgian yeast, fresh apricot, crisp barley cereal malts. Finish is toasty grains, estery apricot, some dry-ish yeast.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small, white head that dissipates to an outer ring, leaving lace. Sweet, fruity aroma of peach, apricot, yeast and spice. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange, peach, apricot, yeast, spice and alcohol with a dry, light bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation.

0.355l bottle from Whole Foods Market Tribeca. This is a light cloudy honey-golden one with a small quickly islandy just off-white top. I get some Belgian yeasty thing on the nose next to ripe banana, flour, wheat and lots of red sweet apples. Yeah, the Belgian yeast stick in the taste also. Its light sweet actually, nit much bitterness here. Soft oily on the mouthfeel and the carbonation is a little bit higher than average. Quite tasty i have to say. Malty sweet with that Belgian yeast running the show. Ripe zest and a little bit if banana in the taste also. Hints of the alcohol, but that could just be the Belgian yeast. Quite a pleasant one to nip to here right about now. 20.06.2013

Draft at wendover beer festival. Cloudy golden color, classic Belgian golden ale, very nice balance of spiciness and alcohol.
