Amber body on this one with an average but lasting white head. Aromas of pear, mango, and tart apple skin. Can detect slight oak. Agave is less pronounced. One of the best masked ABV’s for this strength of beer. Very smooth palate. Good stuff here.

Bottle @ home, Cellared for six years. Light amber with a small head. Sweet aroma with lots of dried fruits, bourbon, syrup, vanilla, caramel, toffee, red fruits. Palate is smooth, the mouthfeel is big and duration is long. Refreshing carbonation. Sweet taste with red fruits, dates, vanilla, oak, bourbon, caramel and syrup, dried raisins, champagne/white grapes and some yeast. Excellent!

16.9floz (500ml) Grand Cru bottle, no bottling date indicated, 12.9% ABV, bought on sale for $5-6, poured into a large snifter glass. Appears amber with minimal head. Smells strong of alcohol like a boozy, raisin wine. Body is very heavy, low in carbonation, and has an alcohol burn. Twangy oak and prune flavors leave a lingering taste in the back of the mouth. This is just too much for me as I continue to take small sips from the glass. As ralph Wiggum might say, "it tastes like burning."

W aromacie i smaku sporo suszonych owoców, trochę beczkowych nut. Ogólnie całkiem fajne piwo.

Gushing as fuck. Wanilia dominuje. W zapachu jeszcze jablko. Smak delikatny, bardziej estrowy niz w zapachu.

Butelka. Gushing as fuck :). Owoce, wanilia, beczka. Alkohol świetnie ukryty.

Bottke, shared at Beer Temple, thanks Henk! Hazy orange color. Off white head, quickly receding. Aroma’s: bourbon, fruit, alcohol. Retronasal there’s soft fruit, berries, sourish, alcohol, bourbon, light wood, vanilla. Flavor is above moderate sweet with some fruity sourness. Strong alcohol feel. Almost full bodied. Long woody finish.

Rich amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, yeast, rich fruit/agave, floral, & citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, oak, honey, tropical fruit, agave, and vinous notes; Warm finish; Needs a little more balance - but interesting & decent overall.

750ml bottle shared @Pułapka, Gdańsk

String raisins and dried fruit aroma. Some spices, quite strong bread and biscuits taste, great spiciness and dried fruit sweetness
