I was shocked, has a bitter, perfect sweet blend. Great after taste! This is is a great beer. When I first sipped it, I even had the faint thought of a champagne! If you are looking for a good blend of bitter/sweet with a good kick and after taste, you will like this one. This is a keeper.
Best Blonde Ale I have ever had! after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 28, 2009
500, corked and baled. Thanks, Homebrew! Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a huge dense white foamy cream on top. Big tangy, almost pineapple-y nose. Creamy, sticky body. Fruity, tangy, pineppley mid-palate. Delicious. Some watermelon and bubble gum there as well. Mild sweet finish. Awesome, awesome beer. dwyerpg (6285) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Some floral and citrus in the aroma. Looks great. A steady rise of bubbles from the center of the beer for a solid 20 minutes or more. A six in appearance. This is a bit sweet but very tasty and certainly hides the high alcohol very well. Pricey but good. ads135 (4844) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 2, 2013
This was one of the stars at our early summer 2013 beer tasting. Very alcoholic with a rich, port flavor and a thick mouthfeel. Nandoman23 (1) - - JAN 16, 2012 does not count
Great golden color, although expected darker. Fantastic aroma, nice and fruity. Amazing initial flavor of sweet with a citrus flavors. Definite agave comes through with oaky dryness. Definite champaign like body, texture and head but more casual. Very refreshing with long aftertaste that keeps you longing for more. Difficult beer to find, a bit pricey but definite well worth it. Currently my favorite beer in recent times.

This is an exquisite beer, that is very complex, almost like a mead. the aroma is almost perfect with taste of honey and berries. the beer has a nice scrubbing quality with taste of honey, fruit and spices. this is a 12% drinking slowly and carefully. Pretty unique strong ale. Surprisingly complex with lots of fruit and sweet malt. omhper (25349) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2009 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear golden, no head. Vinous oak barrel aroma. Sweet and full bodied. Masively malty with well rounded mouthfeel. Intense flavour of lingoneberry and red wine. Not really that complex, but warming and wonderfully tasty sebletitje (10182) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAR 18, 2010
RBWG’10 All cheers to Markwise for opening this gem.
pours light golden, quickly disappearing white head.
Aroma is very sweet, uniqueness of agave is outstanding with a mild touch of oak/wood barrel.
flavors, at 12.5% this one is pure goodness and remains smooth and sweet sugary nectar of agave and a little too light to justify the abv coupled with barrel goodness that is not overpowering.
Slow sipper, with mead like finish. This is tasty.

Ratebeer Winter Gathering. Thanks markwise.
A: Pours a nice golden hue with a nice white head. Zero retention or lace.
S: Wonderful sweet malty aromas. Lots of candy malts with notes of sweet fruits and agave. Very mild woody notes with just a touch of citrus.
T: Very much like the aroma. Sweet and fruity for sure with the agave adding a wonderful flavor that just brings everything together. The wood is there but very subtle. Mild vanilla notes as well. Light citrus and orange zest on the back end gives the a touch of tart bitterness. Love this one.
M: Medium in body, smooth, like velvet in your mouth.
D: Very well done and tasty as hell. Did not know this one even existed when it was opened. After it was finished it is now one I will not soon forget. Get it if you can.
