Can from VE. Nose coffee and heavy dark roast, some sweetness. Pour is dark brown and extremely gushing overcarbonated, with an obviously enormous mocha-tan head. Taste semi-sweet (or semi-dry) with heavy roast and strong alcohol heft and warmth, smooth cocoa and bitter chocolate, low hoppy bitterness, good coffee, dash milk, dash of sparkling red berry fruit mix. Also a has a notable light mineral content. Foamy fullish body, smooth, doesn’t satisfy the thirst but hits a lot of good flavor notes on the way down. 3.25 T: Taste is like the nose. Overload of molasses. Plenty of caramel too. Moderate roastiness with a touch of char. Perhaps a touch of raisin fruitiness.
3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Light creaminess and smooth.
3.0 D: It’s pretty average. Recommended for those that love molasses in there stouts.
