On cask at the brewpub. Reddish murky brown with a thick creamy alabaster head. Aroma is a little floral and hoppy perfume. Completely flat and warm. There is some citrusy mild hops in there that makes it interesting. Bitterness begins to build as the session continues. Goes down fairly easy considering the amount of bitterness inthere. The citrus thing keeps it friendly. Not a fan of cask, but this stuff was OK! Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 15, 2012
Spicy hop nose with a big aroma of raisins and plum. Nutty malt notes, brown sugar. Hazy, murky brown with thin foamy head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts mid-sweet with lots of toasted malt character, brown sugar, and macerated raisins. Plum notes, nutty. Vibrant bitterness and nice hop flavor. Bitter lasting finish and nutty bitter after. A little watery.
